UAE Government Media Office required a visually powerful campaign film capturing a defining national moment—when Burj Khalifa’s facade is adorned with the UAE flag. The goal was to reflect pride, unity, and identity through cinematic storytelling. Pre-Production

The project began with a focused briefing to define the emotional tone and narrative direction. Research centered on national symbolism, timing of the Burj Khalifa light display, and optimal city viewpoints. A structured storyboard was developed to combine wide skyline shots with close human interactions. Permissions for drone filming and key vantage locations were secured early. A production plan was finalized, aligning shoot timings with lighting conditions and ensuring all approvals were in place before execution.

Production

Production was executed with a lean crew of a few members to maintain flexibility across locations. We used cinema-grade cameras, drones, and low-light lenses to capture both sweeping aerial shots and detailed ground perspectives.
